As everybody whos name isnt Dikembe knows that this was the first week of Obama's presidency, and I would just like to raise one question. Is it just me or does every Republican president leave a complete mess behind them. If we look at the last democratic president Bill Clinton,
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
we can see that he adopted a very large budget and trade deficit from Bush Senior. During his 8 year campaing he was able to turn those deficits into surpluses and create jobs at the same time. Then along comes Bush and all of a sudden, 8 years later we have another job as well as a deficit crisis. And once again the democrats are called in to clean up the mess. When will the americans realize that all the republican leaders do is put bandaids on issues which peel off after a couple years and then all of a sudden they are faced with even a bigger problem.
I can just see it now, 8 years later, Obama will have cleaned everything up by then and the Americans will vote in another Republican douchebag with a Cowboy hat and a funny accent. It may seem to people that it another Bush will never get voted in, but from the past I would argue that the voters have an 8 year long memory span.

MODAK MOMENT #1
To fully understand the significance of Modak, people need to understand the man behind the legend. Modak was born and raised on the rice plantations in Southeastern India and from a very young age he possessed the ability to shatter backboards like no one had ever done before. As he grew up his parents realized his talents and sent him to the International School of Istanbul so that he could perfect his god given ability. It was the once a week practices and great nutrition plans consisting of bread and gravel which transformed Modak from a diamond in the rough, to the cornea destroyer that leaders of nations fear.
So to pay respect, this blog is going to present Modak Moments. These are moments in sports which are truly astounding, and would evoke the same reaction as Modaks three point ability did in March 2008.
The first modak moment is the recent thrashing of the Dallas HS academy girls basketball team, 100-0
You can read the whole story here at http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,482825,00.html, but basically what happened is that a HS girls basketball match got out of control and at halftime it was 59-0. Instead of backing off, the coach decided to full court press and pop treys to get the score up to a 100. Ofc as many people agree this is wrong, and unnecessary, but impressive nonetheless. Those girls must have been moist from three to get a 100 points.
Besides all this, the most impressive thing about this game is the losing teams shooting percentage. I havent found any statistics but i really wonder how many shots they were able to get up.
I have endlessly searched for a video of this game with no success, so if someone who was involved in that game by any chance sees this, can you please send me a videotape and in return I will send you some new nylon so that you can rebuild the nets after the beatdown.

LOOK ALIKE #1
Shaq and Earl should be in the same area of the court as often as the Republicans should be in charge of anything even somewhat important. The thing that spurs this look alike is Shaqs face. I am pretty sure the convo between those two consisted of Shaq trying to convince Earl to fatten up...
Religulous
Just finished watching it and I gotta say its a great flick, and basically investigates the irrationality of the masses that is religion. The quote from the movie that really sums it up is that the "solace and comfort that religion brings, actually comes at a heavy price". Looking at the destruction that religion has brought across the globe (i forgot the official estimate of deaths), this is a very valid point. Bill Maher does provide evidence for the argument that religion is indeed a weapon of mass destruction.
I have embedded the video for all to watch for free.
